Resumption Date FOR Nigerian Schools - 2023/2024 Academic Session!

Nigerian Schools Resumption Date; 2023/2024 academic session is published below.
This includes the Nursery Schools, Primary Schools and Secondary Schools - for all States in Nigeria.

The official resumption date for all schools has been fixed by the ministry of education as Monday 12th September 2023. This is to keep all academic activities in line with the approved academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.
The resumption date above is binding on all schools including all Unity schools (Federal and State government colleges) across the nation. The 1st term has been scheduled to run for a period of 3 and a half months in order to meet up with the September resumption which marks the beginning of a fresh academic session.

Primary and Secondary Schools (Unity Schools) Resumption Dates
The federal ministry of education stated that all Federal Government Colleges (unity schools) shall resume as follows:
Junior Secondary School (Day and boarding students) – Sunday 11th September 2023 & Monday 12th September 2023 respectively.

Senior Secondary Schools (Day and boarding students) – Sunday 11th September 2023 & Monday 12th September 2023 respectively.
Although, some states have already fixed their individual resumption dates which you could confirm from your state education authority.
